The popularity of the P365 micro-compact has all but mandated an after-market cottage industry of SIG P365 accessories. This includes extendo mags, concealed carry holsters, red dot mounts (and optics), various grip module options, and of course lots of P365 upgrades for the firearm itself.
The list below contains a rundown of SIG P365 upgrades and accessories our crew either uses or at least knows enough to recommend. And a couple we stumbled across while we were doing our Google-Fu, but that’s just to make sure this is as comprehensive a list as possible.
Many of the parts you’ll find below will also fit the P365 XL, P365 SAS, and other models – but not all. Always double-check before you make your purchase. Now, without further ado…
SIG P365 Accessories
1. SIG P365 Holster
You can’t concealed carry a pistol without a good holster. Well, you can, but in the vast majority of cases, it’s a Bad Idea. Happily, there are many really good options out there. We’re choosing the Safariland IncogX for the P365 as our first suggestion. It’s well designed to conceal, comfortable, has a sidecar holster option (if you’re into that), and can accommodate a variety of compact and sub-compact lights — a weapon light is also a must if you can make it work. That’s in addition to your trusty pocket EDC flashlight of course.
Features of the IncogX include:
- 3 Sizes of Concealment Enhancing Clip strut shims
- Micro and full-size red-dot compatibility
- Microfiber suede-wrapped Boltaron body
- Optional magazine caddy with tension adjustment
- Over-the-belt polymer clips
- Passive trigger guard and ejection port retention

2. P365 Gas Pedal
Consider a P365 Gas Pedal first, especially if you haven’t already purchased a holster. This won’t be for everyone, but the people who do use it seem to love it. Be forewarned you’ll need to either procure a specific holster for it (suggestions below) or do some modifications to your own. If you don’t mind going to those lengths this could be worth the investment. The point of any model of pistol gas pedal is to provide better control of a small gun. It does so by assisting with your grip, mitigating recoil, and putting faster follow-up shots on target; some people find that a gas pedal also helps minimize or eliminate trigger jerk. Those benefits are why they’re so popular with competitive shooters.
- Not a gunsmith part, you can install DIY
- Only adds a tiny bit to the overall width of the entire pistol (like 350 thousandths little bit)
- Helps tame the snappy nature of any short-barreled pistol
- Automagically improves shooter’s grip
- Gas pedals have helped win at least eight USPSA national championships
Note: this fits the pistol’s standard rail. If you’ve modified it to a Picatinny rail you won’t be able to use it.

3. P365 Trigger Upgrade: Grayguns Adjustable Hybrid Trigger
This trigger buff is adjustable for over-travel; you can minimize gross movement after the sear is released and shorten your reset using just a (provided) hex key. It also provides a smoother take-up than a stock trigger. This is a drop-in, bar-stock trigger.
Note: Some third-party weapon lights and/or lasers may interfere with trigger movement; double-check that yours is good to go before buying one.

4. P365 Magazine Extension
Granted, this isn’t a gun upgrade, but plus-ing up your mag capacity is a no-brainer. The only standard SIG P365 mag extension we’re aware of (as of this writing, mind you) is the one manufactured by XTech Tactical. And as an aside, their extension gives you a sufficiently improved grip extension that you can skip moving to an XL frame.
The made-in-the-USA MTX 365 +3 round magazine extension isn’t for use with P365X, P365XL, or P365 Macro frames and it isn’t for either the P365’s 12 round or 15 round magazine

5. Tactical Application SIG Rail Adapter for P365
This is probably one of the best places to start if you’re looking to use a Pic-rail WML or laser you already own. The geometry of SIG’s proprietary rail is different than a typical accessory rail. Tactical Development‘s “tactical application rail” is inexpensive and easy to install. We’d use it for a weapon light, but you could throw a pistol bayonet on there if you wanted to. We won’t judge. Check their site to see if it will accommodate your preferred rail-mounted thingamawhatsit.

6. Faxon Firearms Match Series P365 Barrel
Faxon builds great barrels. Their PP365 barrel is no exception. This is a straight-fluted drop-in barrel; you don’t need a gunsmith or anything like that. You can get the with a black Nitride or PVD coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear. It has conventional rifling (1:10 barrel twist), with an 11-degree target crown.
It’s hard to go wrong with a barrel upgrade, though to be honest many of us aren’t good enough to wring every bit of mechanical advantage out of one.

7. An upgraded P365 Slide
The True Precision SIG Sauer Slide with an RMS Cut & Cover Plate is cut for the RMSc and SIG Romeo Zero Optics and includes a cover plate for when you’re using the weapon without optics. It’s an excellent after-market slide option if you’re looking for an RDS mounting option.

8. P365 Extended Mag Release
The Align Tactical Sig Sauer P365 Micro Extended mag release is another inexpensive way to upgrade your pistol. Some people have trouble dropping the slide with a regular mag release – and the extended version gets it more out there like the balls on a bulldog. Or close to that, anyway.
9. P365 EXOS Comp
Faxon Pistol Compensators are all about consistency. The P365 EXOS comp is no different. It features an angled front port single chamber design. This design reduces muzzle movement and improves stability by diverting gas upwards rather than to the side.
Specifications
- Length: 1.125″
- Width: .900″
- Height: 1.236″
- Weight: .05lbs
- Thread: 1/2×28
