Deployment bags have become a fairly popular item in the last few years. This year at SHOT Mystery Ranch has released its own 160L take on the venerable deployment bag called the All In Deployment Bag. They have a Berry-compliant version which is awesome for those government purchasers in the States but I am more interested in the international version.

As a guy who ends up living out of deployment bags several times a year, the feature of the international version I like the most is the shelves (missing on the Berry version to reduce cost). With the deployment bag tipped on its end, you have a pseudo-dresser with two shelves inside to act as the drawers. Not only that but the lid of the bag has three zippered mesh pockets for all the small stuff you want to keep at hand like earbuds, usb cables or meds.

One of the other features I like about both versions of the bag is the lack of external pockets since most are a bit too small for anything other than some socks and underwear. The zipper of the main bag is also a locking zipper to help keep opportunistic thieves ( yes zippers can be bypassed and so can locks).
Both versions of the bag also have a removable wheeled frame which gives it rigidity when on its end so it stays upright.
