What is an SME?

The SME- Sound Mitigation Equipment – non class III is a highly effective Linear Comp/Blast Can that allows for excellent shot to shot recovery & incorporates an external shroud that reduces lateral auditory reports. When the unit is assembled it allows for complete control of dynamic recoil forces while keeping the pressure wave from the shot downrange. This allows for maximum recoil control and a hearing safe environment for your Teammates or fellow shooters on the firing line.

The Slimline SME combines a high-efficiency three-chamber muzzle brake with a sleek external shroud, crafted to redirect concussive forces forward, away from the shooter and bystanders. This innovative design significantly reduces lateral auditory reports (meaning it is quieter for the shooter at the shooter’s ear), making it an ideal choice for indoor ranges, training environments, or firing lines where sound mitigation is critical.

Availability

The device is available in Graphite Black or Flat Dark Earth, with caliber options including 5.56, .30 Cal, 6.5, 9mm, and .45, and thread patterns of 1/2-28 and 5/8-24.

It is important to note that the .45 is ONLY available in 5/8-24.
