High Speed Gear’s New M24P Day Pack – Limited Run

A few weeks back, we spent a few days at the High Speed Gear compound out in North Carolina. Some of our buddies over at Pope did us a solid and let us catch a ride on a 130 during a training op and got us close enough to HSGI’s complex to make the jump. Green light came on, and we stepped into the breeze. Luckily, the wind was calm over the Higdon DZ as we infil’d into our AO. With our canopies full of fresh Atlantic air, we found our coordinates and slipped our way to our destination. Upon arrival, the boys had plenty of cold beer, nylon goods to show off and shenanigans on tap, as always. One piece that caught our eye was the M24P Day Pack.

BLUF: The M24P is a simplified version of HSGI’s “Moose” pack.  It’s large enough to carry sustainment gear, extra ammo, med supplies and other essential gear for rapid deployment, but is small enough to provide versatile storage options. (Kind of like us – we’re small and compact, but we’re big where it counts…if you catch my drift.) The M24P will be offered in a couple different variations such as with and without MOLLE on the exterior. The internal space comes with two large mesh pockets that will fit a large armor plate or other mission-essential items.

The M24P is made of 1000D Nylon, measures 14.5”L x 10”W x 5”D, comes standard with padded shoulder straps and runs 725 ci on the interior.

Who knew an 80-year-old wonder like that had such a mean left hook. The pack took a beating, but definitely stood the test

Now that’s how you T&E some kit!

It will only be available exclusively through SKD for a limited time.

Retail prices are as follows:

M24P Solid Slick                      $110.00

M24P Solid MOLLE                 $120.00

M24P Pattern Slick                 $125.00

M24P Pattern MOLLE                         $135.00

We love our pack and apparently the one-eyed chick that frequents the parking lot at that one hot spot on Highway 17 down the road from Camp Lejeune does too. ‘Ol girl tried to sneak off with it after Slim finished laying her over the trunk of the GSA car we commandeered for our trip back to Bragg. I had a pretty good scuffle trying to get my pack back from her. Who knew an 80-year-old wonder like that had such a mean left hook. The pack took a beating, but definitely stood the test…now that’s how you T&E some kit!

We never did get that stain off the paint.

Anyway, tell SKD the Mad Duo sent you and enjoy the pack. Get yours here.
