For our third annual Bangin’ Brouhaha we posted up at our favorite watering hole in Las Vegas — Hogs & Heifers — to hang out, drink with friends, and of course, do some good. The lovely Penny Osiecki and some members of our crew devised a plan to raise funds for a veterans charity for the Nevada Veterans Assistance League/Nevada State Veterans Home.

Thank You, Hogs & Heifers!
We would like to give our massive thanks to Hogs & Heifers for not only hosting our mangey assess and our friends for another year but also for donating 25% of the October-December sales from their “Hogs Pride” Red, White & Blue T-Shirts to this veterans charity. You should check out their store because they have some pretty cool merch, like this Fuck The Westboro Baptist Church shirt. For our part, we made up some custom flash-bang fridge magnets. So if you donated $5 into the bucket you got one. I mean, it was a bar so magnets made sense.

Nom, Nom, Nom
We would also like to thank our sponsors Pizza Rock Las Vegas for the delicious pizza they gave us for the party. I don’t eat many carbs but I make an exception for a slice of this pizza every year it is that good.

Slow & Low Rock & Rye — Swinging Dick Approved
If you saw us the first day of the show and you were cool enough you likely got a mini can of Slow & Low Rock & Rye. These little cans were a big hit at the show and the party so be sure to check these guys out.
Swinging Dick thought the Slow & Low mini can was the perfect size.
Our Veterans Charity Totals
All in together we managed to raise $1252 freedom dollars to help those who fought for freedom. Penny has a great writeup on her visit to the Nevada State Veterans Home along with some history on the very iconic bar here.

Join Us in 2021
Make sure to come to hang out with us next year at the 4th annual Bangin’ Brouhaha if you are in the area. If you do happen to be in Vegas outside of SHOT, Hogs & Heifers will be there to serve you drinks, dance on the bar, and shame you via megaphone for looking at your phone.
