The Viking Chronicles are coming

Written by Swingin' Dick on .

We're going to be candid and serious for just a moment.  One of the best things in life is meeting and becoming friends with good people, or becoming friends with solid professionals you admire. Sometimes you get to do both all at one time. Recently, thanks to a mutual friend, we were afforded the chance to get to know Kyle Lamb, and here's the thing. He's not just a consummate professional. He's a good sumbitch.

We hit it off well, but that's really not a huge shock. As you're already no doubt aware, we have something of a cult following amongst serious practitioners of doorkickery. It's a little embarrasing, especially when a normally staid (grunts: staid), even implacable (grunts: implacable) professional operator like Kyle Lambs gushes and gets all schoolgirl giggly about hanging out with us. (It's even worse when it's a midnight radio voiced CEO like Tom Davin that does it, but hey; it's a cross we bear.)

Seriously. Kyle's a former SGM of the nations most elite special operations unit. It ca be intimidating having a guy like that as a fanboy.

So anyway we spent some time with Kyle doing a little contract work, a little fighting and...drinking (well, we were anyway), keeping him out of trouble, stalking him through the Rocky Mountains to test his skills, you know. The usual. He told us then about the upcoming Viking Chronicles and we talked a little bit about what he's going to be doing, but we weren't at liberty to pass it along. Now it's been formally announced and we can go ahead and let everybody know.

But we digress. The Viking Chronicles are coming and you should watch them. Feel free to thank Viking Tactics and Hatch Entertainment, as well as 5.11 Tactical (which is sponsoring it).

Yes, we will be joining him at some point. Possibly to show him how to hunt elk. Maybe to show him the best way to engage an insurgent from a moving helicopter.

Hell, for all you know we're already hiding in his beard in that first video and he doesn't even know it.

Check out Viking Chronicles on The Viking Channel. You won't regret it and you might learn something.
